Gretchen has an MFA in costume design and technology from University of Missouri-Kansas City. Her design work includes: Hair and Makeup Design for Wait Until Dark (Harlequin Productions), Costume Design for What The Constitution Means To Me (Boise Contemporary Theatre), What Would Crazy Horse Do? (Kansas City Rep), Bernhardt/Hamlet (Unicorn Theatre), As You Like It (Illinois Shakespeare Festival), and Henry IV Part 1 (Arkansas Shakespeare Theatre). Her technology work includes custom tailoring for the Super Bowl LVIII Halftime Show in Las Vegas, the K-Pop group BlackPink at Coachella, and Dodger Stadium, as well as custom gowns for the background vocalists on the Beyoncé Renaissance Tour.
