In 1997 we began a capital campaign to purchase and remodel the historic State Theater in downtown Olympia. Seventeen months later we opened the doors on a beautiful new home for Harlequin Productions. Our ingenuity kept the entire project to a mere $1.3 million. In the seventeen months of the campaign, we raised $830,000. The remaining $500,000 to make the project possible came from a generous loan from Heritage Bank.

Five years later, with many new successes under our belt, that mortgage remains a great weight on our shoulders. $50,000/year. $4,000 every month. Life in the arts is tough enough. Help free us from that weight!
