Jobs and Auditions at Harlequin
We are regularly looking for cast members, technical crew, designers and staff folks to join us. If we have any openings, we will post them here. General auditions will be held once a year. Additional auditions throughout the season are scheduled as needed. Harlequin does attend the TPS general auditions. All auditions are by appointment.
General Auditions
Wednesday Aug 26th from 6-9pm at the State Theater in Olympia
(Please note new date)
Auditionees will be expected to present 2 contrasting monologues, no more then 3 minutes length total. If a singer please prepare 16 bars a capella of a song from the 40's for Stardust or a song from the 60's for the summer musical.

Stardust Homecoming Auditions
Monday night Aug 24th in Seattle at TPS (Theater Puget Sound)
Tuesday night Aug 25th in Olympia at the State Theater

It’s Christmas Eve 1942 and a mysterious man from the Fulton Street Fish Market makes a delivery to the Stardust. The fish are fresh but he’s long overdue and has a story to tell and a song to share. The 15th in the Stardust series, the South Puget Sound’s favorite holiday tradition, Stardust Homecoming brings a new installment of 1940s music, comedy and romance for Christmas.

Rehearsals are generally weekday evenings and weekends. Some rehearsals are in Seattle, the rest are in Olympia. Pay scale varies by production. We do accept interns for some roles.
Technical Crew Opportunities/Internships Now accepting applications for As You Like It.
We are often looking for Light Board Operators, Follow Spot Operators, Assistant Stage Managers, Scenic Artists and Carpenters. The pay for these positions is minimal, but hey, it's the arts! Front of House Opportunities
House Manager
Part-time, mostly evenings, includes weekends. $8.55/hr 4 hours a week. Must be 21 years or older to legally manage alcohol sales.
House Managers run theater events from the perspective of Front of House and maintain the safety of the building during performances. Duties include training and managing a volunteer crew and running the concessions counter.
This position requires cash handling experience. Crew management experience a plus. Must be able to work effectively with minimal or no supervision and to effectively handle intermittent high-pressure customer service situations.
Box Officer Part-time, mostly evenings, includes weekends. $8.55/hr 4 hours a week. This position is customer service based and uses software to book tickets for patrons. Box Officers use a cash register (cash, check and charges), balance at the end of their shift, and run sales reports.
The position requires customer service experience, computer application experience, cash handling experience and the ability to effectively handle intermittent high-pressure customer service situations.
