We are regularly looking for cast members, technical crew, designers and staff folks to join us. If we have any openings, we will post them here. General Auditions will be held once a year in mid June. The rest of the season the auditions are by invitation only.

Please bring 16 bars a cappella of a bouncy 40's song. You will also be taught a song and taught some dance. Bring tap shoes if you tap.

Rehearsals are generally weekday evenings and weekends. Some rehearsals are in Seattle, the rest are in Olympia. All positions are paid. Payscale varies by production. We do accept interns for some roles.


Administrative Opportunities

Executive Director
The Executive Director is responsible for development and fundraising, board relations, financial management, and general administration. Demonstrated success in development and fundraising is essential. Excellent team building and staff management skills are required. Executive Director must communicate effectively with all constituents. The Executive Director is responsible for effective delegation while maintaining oversight. The Executive Director reports to the Board of Directors and works collaboratively with the Artistic Directors to ensure an integrated approach to fulfilling Harlequin Productions' mission. The Executive Director will maintain and expand the confidence and stature of Harlequin Productions as a well respected and well-run performing arts resource for the community and will represent Harlequin Productions and the programs we offer to continually enhance this confidence.

Front of House Opportunities

House Manager
Part-time, mostly evenings, includes weekends. $8.25/hr 4 hours a week.
House Managers run theater events from the perspective of Front of House and maintain the safety of the building during performances. Duties include training and managing a volunteer crew and running the concessions counter.
This position requires cash handling experience. Crew management experience a plus. Must be able to work effectively with minimal or no supervision and to effectively handle intermittent high-pressure customer service situations.

Box Office Assistance
Part-time, mostly evenings, includes weekends. $8.25/hr 4 hours a week.
This position is customer service based and uses software to book tickets for patrons. Box Officers use a cash register (cash, check and charges), balance at the end of their shift, and run sales reports.
The position requires customer service experience, computer application experience, cash handling experience and the ability to effectively handle intermittent high-pressure customer service situations.
