Meet the Cast of boom

Mike DoolyTrick Danneker - Jules

Trick was previously seen at Harlequin as Tranio inThe Taming of the Shrew and Orlando in As You Like It. In Seattle, he has been seen in Eurydice at ACT, The Green Sheep, Pharaoh Serket and the Lost Stone of Fire, Bluenose and The Big Friendly Giant at Seattle Children's Theatre, Great Expectations at Book-It Repertory Theatre, The 13th of Paris, The Sweetest Swing in Baseball, "Master Harold"… and the Boys, Stop Kiss and The Intelligent Design of Jenny Chow with Seattle Public Theater, American Buffalo at Theater Schmeater, Picasso at the Lapin Agile with Balagan Theatre. He has also performed with 14/48: The World's Quickest Theatre Festival, Wooden-O Productions and Live Girls Theater. Trick received his bachelor's degree in Theatre Performance from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and has been working as a professional teaching artist in Seattle for five years.

Melanie is thrilled to be back at Harlequin, where she played Kate in The Taming of the Shrew, Izzy in Rabbit Hole, and Audrey in As You Like It. She also appeared in Animal Fire Theatre's Macbeth as Lady Macbeth, Jessica in The Merchant of Venice with Seattle Shakespeare Company, and as Olivia in Twelfth Night with the Roving Park Players. Some of her favorite roles include Gwendolyn in The Importance of Being Earnest, Lady Anne in Richard III, Romeo in Romeo and Juliet, Adriana in Comedy of Errors, Juliet in Romeo and Juliet, and Antonio in The Tempest. Melanie received her B.F.A. in Theatre from Cornish College of the Arts. Also, "Thank you to my family and friends for your constant encouragement, love, and support."

Casi WilkersonCasi Wilkerson – Barbara

Casi is thrilled to return to the Harlequin stage, one of her favorite theater companies in the world! She was last seen here playing the role of Ellie in Pyschopathia Sexualis and Lady Visitor in Under a Mantle of Stars. Casi is a Drama Teacher at First Presbyterian Church School where she teaches K-5 students. She has a passion for bringing arts and valuable life-skills (that theater offers) into the lives of children. Some of her directorial credits include Seussical Jr., High School Musical, Charlotte's Web and James and the Giant Peach. She studied theater under Mark Meadoff at the American Southwest Theater Company at New Mexico State University. Favorite local roles include Muriel in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (Theatre Northwest), Rita in Educating Rita (Theatre Northwest), Aunt Sarah in Christmas Foundling (Taproot Theatre), Mrs. Weston in Emma (Book-It Repertory) and Chick in Crimes of the Heart (TAG). Film credits include Clansey in Group (WOVIE PRODUCTIONS), Paramedic in Bad Seed and Venus Deugan in The Fire Below Us (NBC/Discovery/KCTS). She will journey to Taproot Theatre next to play the role of Allison in Brownie Points. Casi thanks her precious family for their endless love and support. "Anything can happen if you let it!"
