News Tribune Review

Following the assassination of Julius Caesar, Mark Antony, Octavius Caesar and Lepidus became the joint rulers of the Roman empire. Antony, however, becomes entranced by Cleopatra, queen of Egypt, and neglects his military and political responsibilities to indulge in luxury and decadence. The scandal becomes the talk of Rome, and young Octavius Caesar uses Mark Antony’s weakness for his own advancement. A classic tale of an exalted passion shackled by reason and politics.
