Peter Donaldson Biography
Peter Donaldson, master storyteller, educator, and community facilitator tours nationally in character as Leonardo da Vinci to bring the splendor of the Renaissance and the practical disciplines of personal genius dramatically to life. He visits colleges, schools, chambers and rotaries to stimulate the new currency of intellectual curiosity; a new age of human-centered learning, innovation, productivity and civility.

In the fall, when the salmon are returning to the rivers of his native Northwest (Salmon Nation), Mr. Donaldson tours his other one man show SALMONPEOPLE, leading seminars on sustainability and building local coalitions to prioritize sustainable measures and use indicators to measure progress according to the triple bottom line.

Mr. Donaldson has authored a dozen plays, produced sixty others and self-publishes his poetry in an annual collection. He received the national award for Youth Theater Director of the Year from the American Alliance for Theater and Education in 1991. Mr. Donaldson has 25 years experience as a curriculum designer and teacher of teachers creating numerous public school partnerships delivering sustainability seminars and integrating the major stories of American history. Peter is the Creative Director for the Salmonpeople Tour and the New Renaissance Project, working with communities throughout the bioregion and across the nation to advance a “New Renaissance” of intellectual curiosity and sustainable prosperity.
